Fern Pathways

Fern Pathways is a veteran-led community initiative based in Somerset providing mobile wellbeing, outreach and early intervention support for veterans and other vulnerable individuals. Founded by military veteran John Bird (REME), Fern Pathways aims to reduce isolation, improve wellbeing and provide practical support through trauma-aware, non-clinical services delivered within local communities. The project combines wellbeing support, community outreach and practical guidance, with a particular focus on supporting individuals who may struggle to engage with traditional services. Fern Pathways is currently developing a Mobile Wellbeing and Outreach Vehicle to enable support to be delivered directly within communities across Somerset and the South West. We are actively seeking partnerships, referral pathways and opportunities to collaborate with other veteran-led organisations and supporters. Fern Pathways is currently seeking a Founding Vehicle Partner to help bring this innovative Mobile Wellbeing Vehicle into service. Businesses interested in sponsorship, partnership or social investment are warmly invited to get in touch.
